Steve first moved to Henrietta in 1980, coming to RIT from Tonawanda, a suburb of Buffalo. During his student days, he lived in the rit residence halls or in apartments near campus. After graduating, he purchased a house in Henrietta.

In 2012, he built his dream house on land purchased in Henrietta – the only town he searched for available land.  Steve and Vicki are involved in the rush Henrietta schools of their two sons, in their son’s Boy Scout troop, and have been involved in the rush Henrietta athletic association, including managing their Facebook page. Vicki is the chairwoman of the Rochester children’s book festival.
